Liberica Scotch Coffee
The Liberica Scotch Coffee is our liberica version of this classic coffee cocktail. This drink is a combination of Scotch, french press liberica coffee and honey topped with whipped cream and an optional dusting of cinnamon. Using a strong flavoured local honey will be a good compliment to the Liberica’s distinct flavours. It’s a subtle difference to the classic but we think it will become your new favourite way to drink the scotch Coffee.
Scotch Coffee Recipe
1 cup of French press liberica coffee
½ oz honey
1 ½ oz Scotch
Freshly whipped heavy cream
Optional: cinnamon dusting
Prepare French press liberica coffee. Pour French press and honey into your glass and stir until dissolved. Also add Scotch to your drink thereafter. Pour whipped heavy cream gently over back of spoon, therefore ensuring it stays on the surface of the drink. As you can see from the picture, for this specific recipe we used The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
You may easily substitute the Scotch for a Canadian whisky and utilize your favourite local spirits.
