Liberica Coffee Hazelnut Espresso Martini
For this coffee cocktail LeClair Organics has developed an exceptional espresso martini recipe using our liberica coffee and hazelnut liqueur. If you would like, perhaps try with another high quality coffee bean, however we think the particular flavour profile of the liberica bean tastes particularly well!
As a Saskatoon founded company we thought for this particular example recipe we would use our locally available Saskatoon coffee as well as a locally distilled Saskatoon vodka such as Lucky Bastard Distillery.
Hazelnut Espresso Martini Recipe:
1 1/2 oz vodka
1 1/2 hazelnut liqueur
2 oz Liberica Espresso
1/2 oz honey syrup
Optional: 1 egg white

Mix all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 15 -20 seconds. Pour into a pre-chilled martini glass. Using an egg white or vegan alternative will give an enhanced texture and smoother feel to the drink. Garnish with the 3 coffee beans or skewer a hazelnut chocolate onto a cocktail skewer.
