Brandy Espresso Martini

LeClair Organics recently made a brandy espresso martini coffee cocktail recipe utilizing our liberica specialty coffee beans. We use the liberica espresso for this recipe, however there are many other coffee flavour profiles that would be suitable in replacement. For this particular recipe we utilized the Torres 10 Imperial Grand Reserva , a Spanish Brandy. The recipes are variable to experimentation with other cognac or brandy brands as well.

We used the vanilla syrup from Cocktail Emporium in Toronto, which is available by delivery across Canada. As a Saskatoon founded company I tend to have a preference to support local when possible, therefore the Lucky Bastard Distillers Vanilla Vodka is a suitable substitution option rather than Vanilla syrup. Per the recipes below feel free to adjust per your personal preferences in strength and sweetness. Place all ingredients into your cocktail shaker with ice and mix for approximately 2-3 minutes. Take out your pre-chilled espresso martini glass. I prefer to use a 5 0z glass and fit the ingredient ratios as per below. Pour into your martini glass and double strain. Garnish with the traditional 3 coffee beans, or add something creative. You can see from the photography below the visual distinctness of the liberica 3 bean garnish. The bean is slightly pointed and is also approximately 1/3 larger than an arabica.

2 oz Brandy

2 oz Freshly pulled & chilled double shot of Liberica Espresso

1/4 oz Honey or simple syrup

1 Egg white or vegan alternative

Brandy Vanilla Espresso Martini Recipe

2 oz Brandy

2 oz Freshly pulled & chilled double shot of Liberica Espresso

1/2 oz Vanila syrup

1 Egg white or vegan alternative

Brandy Mocha Martini Recipe

2.5 oz Brandy

1 oz Freshly pulled & chilled double shot of Liberica Espresso

1 oz Creme de Cacao
